	4^th December 2009 – COOKERY DEMONSTRATION IN AID OF ABBIE’S FUND Sainsbury’s Cobham have arranged for a cookery demonstration to happen at the store café on Friday 4^th December from 18.30 until around 20.30.  The demonstration will be done by one of the Sainsburys cooks who has appeared on the TV adverts with Jamie Oliver.  She will be demonstrating a 3 course menu that could be eaten over the Christmas period  The cost is £5.00 per ticket for entry and this includes watching the demonstration, with plenty of tasting, a glass of either mulled wine or Clementine bucks fizz for people on arrival and then a mince pie and coffee after the demonstration. All the proceeds made on the night will be donated to Abbies fund. The tickets are on sale in the store from the customer service desk ABBIE’S FUND PENDANT As Trustees of Abbie’s Fund, we have designed a pendant in memory of Abbie. Abbie’s parents gave us the idea of using a butterfly as the logo for our charity. Abbie loved butterflies and often painted them in many bright colours. We chose pink as the colour for our butterfly logo because that was Abbie’s favourite. The Butterfly is also a symbol for reincarnation. Abbie’s father gave us the idea that if you put two ‘B’s’ back to front it would make a butterfly, so we could therefore include it in Abbie’s name. We hope that this beautiful pendant will remind us all of Abbie, whilst also being a lovely gift to friends and family. Publically launched at the Hampton Court Flower Show, July 2009. A low growing lightly fragranced floribunda rose with clusters of cerise pink flowers - pointed in bud and developing into almost double blooms retaining the strong pink colour all the way through with a dense foliage. Flowers June until first frosts.
